Why do you like Jane Austen?

Well,lately I've heard a lot about |Jane Austen and her books,watched some movies made of them,but the questin is:why this woman knew so much about relationships and pain,frustration that they cause,if she had never been married?
Her books still famous after so many years,are the example for other books and authors!I'd love to know your favorite book and movie of her,tell me all about!
